FAQ's

When you call us, we do our best to answer every phone call or get back to you in a timely manner, but just in case we are out in the yard caring for your pets, here are a few common answers to the questions you may have.
May I stop by and look at your facility?

Yes, we invite you to drop by any time for a tour! No need to call or make an appointment. The best time for a tour is between 11am-3pm during our mid-day lull, but we can accommodate tours any time during our business hours.

You can download that right here as a PDF or use our fill in registration form.

You are welcome to pick-up and drop off your dog any time during our business hours. We are open from 6:30am-7pm on weekdays, and 7am-7pm on weekends and holidays.

Yes, we board a wide variety of small animals including but not limited to cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, iguanas, and rabbits. We also have pet Grooming as well pool time in our large doggy pool and  Doggy daycare.

You will need to bring proof of vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella for your dog to stay with us. For your cat we require Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. You will also need to fill out our new client registration form.
You are welcome to bring anything that you think may help your pet feel more comfortable. We are prepared to provide your dog or cat with fleece blankets and a plus bed. In fact,we do encourage using our bedding. Although we do our best to make sure all bedding that is brought from home is returned squeaky clean, it does get busy and getting your pet’s items back from the laundry in time for pick up is not something we can guarantee. We do recommend you bring your pet’s own food as sometimes switching it up too quickly can result in an upset stomach. Pre-portioned bags work best as well as detailed instructions of any medications that will be needed. We do have house food if you are not able to bring your own. It is imperative that your pet wears a collar with a name tag Although most of our clients are regulars, having many dogs that look the same can confuse our newer staff and we want to make absolutely sure your dog is easily identified.

At Paradise Pet Resort, we welcome and love dogs of all breeds, big and small! Every pup in our care enjoys a safe, enriching environment, whether in our individual play yards or social group settings.

To ensure the comfort of all our guests, certain large bully breeds—including Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Cane Corsos, and similar breeds—will have their own private play enclosures. This decision is not based on any individual dog’s temperament but rather on the broader public perception of these breeds. As a business, we must consider the comfort and concerns of all our clients while maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for every dog in our care.

Our private play yards still provide plenty of space for exercise, play, and attention from our caring staff. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing a wonderful stay for your furry family member!

There are no additional costs for administering medications, but well documented instructions are essential.

Absolutely, we require collars with name tags at all times. We have many dogs of the same breed want to avoid any confusion.

We do not take females in heat. If your pet is to become in heat during her stay, we require immediate pick up and will call you. If you can’t get to us right away, we will keep your girl comfortable in a private enclosure.

Yes we do! However, after females turn 6 months old, and males turn 12 months old, they get their own separate play yard near their friends for safety.

All pets must have a collar, name tag and updated vaccinations. We recommend bringing you pet’s own food from home to avoid an upset tummy, but if not, we’ve got you covered with House food free of charge!
